Got cheated by travel agent.

I came in touch with a guy who works for travel company in while I was staying in pg. I paid him 9k for air ticket for journey which I planned 1 month later. However my dad suffered heart attack so I asked him to cancel. He told me booked some slots. When I asked him to return the refund. He is saying airline didn’t refund any amount. I am asking him to send invoice, ticket, pnr but he is refusing nor returning my 9k . What can I do?

I’d say just ignore this, 9k is not a big loss and never to trust strangers this way. A lesson learned for 9k is how I would take it

I think there has to be some amount which the airline would’ve returned. 1k at least if I were to make a guess

That’s what I have been asking him..to give me the ticket and the refund amount statement. He is not sharing anything.

Do you know where he works ? Dos he still stay at the same PG ?

If that’s the case, may be a police case will work. However, do you have proof for the money transaction?

I know where he stays but not his company name. I have the watsapp chat history and the proof of transaction.
