January 31, 2025 at 8:09 pmHi AllI reside in gurgaon and was visiting my family in Lucknow last Diwali. While returning I slowed down around every camera but somehow I received a challan for over speeding after 3 days of the journey.
In the challan my speed as per the camera was 108 (Limit is 100, station mentioned is of Kanpur). The images attached in the challan are just pure black color with my number plate. The picture quality is so bad that if you don’t know the color of the car you wouldn’t be able to even guess it.
Now, I have two questions:
* Should I pay 2000 rs fine
* Should I contest it in some way, if yes, then what is the process. Also, is there any threat to me getting stopped by local cops or vehicle getting seized.I know I was going a bit fast but trust me I must be driving at a below average speed if you’ll take into account how fast some of the bigger cars I see on this expressway.
I have all the intention to fight the challan online in some way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
