DI lost my mind. Looked up call girl services. Paid 499, went to location, they kept asking for more money. Next day they started to threaten me , they have telegram chat where I agreed to come to location. They have my profile picture which was there on telegram. They have my phone number. They took 1.5 lakh. In have reported to local cybercrime police. I deleted my Google business profile. Should I delete my facebook, instagram and could they hurt me professionally? I went to their location but didnt enter or meet up with anyone.

QYou should pursue it legally, file a police complaint as you have already lost 1.5L. Don’t self harm more by deleting the profiles. They can’t do anything.

QI can understand your Situation but I would suggest to move on from this chapter of life. You will not achieve anything, most of the time, police are hand and gloves with these criminals. File a police complaint mainly for personal safety and future intimidation and referencs. if it was a bank transfer, ask your bank to block this transaction.

SDon’t fall into such scams. They are 100% scammers, looking to empty your bank account by blackmailing. Try to make social media profiles private and don’t respond. File FIR at local police station since you lost money.

DAlready filed complaint with cybercrime police locally. Will go to physical cybercrime police station in a day or two

SHow did you pay ₹1.5 lakhs? Try to contact bank customer care and ask them for reversal, saying you already filled cyber crime compaint. Give them compaint number. Also, dating & marriage is hard for some people. I feel education system and Indian parenting style ruins it.

IDon’t worry man , myself being 19 searched for these things in telegram and also on the internet. Once a guy called me and was asking for 12k. Never reacted to his threats then he stopped after 2 days . Then I started threatening him saying that i am a minor and your actions are a serious crime ( he begged for forgiveness for a whole day )

and option to hide phone number, and option to change username anytime

Share with them the screenshot of those chats.. they might remove it completely from internet if its already there..and they can also block it in such a way that no body can even share this on any platform.
And delete all the insta, FB, telegram, snapchat immediately.. scammers would have already traced you everywhere-
DActually it was my mistake. I kept asking for refund of initial amount. They got me in this hope. They said pay security deposit this this then code will be generated, share screenshot, then kept adding new charges. Already deleted telegram, locked FB. I did cyber crime complaint immediately after the payments.

Now get the life lesson..
1. online hookers arent a real thing..
2. Never pay anyone unknown like this from your legit account where you do keep a lot of money. Maintain the secondary account.
3. Passwords should be always in differnet pattern for all your social media account. And change them in every 3 month or 6 month max.
4. Do not sign up with any social media or any merch accounts from the mobile number which is registered with your bank account.
5. Social media accounts shouldn’t show up your full name which is registered with your bank account.
6. Social media DP shouldn’t show your clear face picture. (Except LinkedIn). -
