SHey everyone, I need some advice on a situation that happened recently.
On **29th April**, I ordered food online. When the delivery guy came, he asked for help saying his tyre had gone flat and requested ₹500, promising he would return it within a few hours. Trusting him, I sent the money via UPI.
Next day, no money was returned. I kept calling — he gave excuses and promised to return it the following day. Meanwhile, I called **1930** and reported the incident, and also filed a complaint with my bank for transaction reversal.
I called **cyber cell again** and they told me to visit my **local police station** and provide them other details
**Fast forward to 1st May**, I called him again, requested him to return the money and informed him about my cyber complaint. He started showing attitude, saying “jo karna hai kar le.”
Later that night, I casually told my friend about it. He called the guy, abused him over call, and the delivery guy abused back — even saying **”Main aa raha hoon teri location pe.”** We were ready, but he never showed up.
Now I’m wondering —
* Should I go to the police station for this?
* Are there any consequences of the verbal abuse exchange over call?
* Will both parties get into trouble or just him since he scammed and threatened?The amount is small, but it’s the principle and the threat part that’s bothering me.
Would appreciate any advice on how to proceed. Thanks in advance!

MGo to the police station and request the cop there to give him a call. You’ll receive your money within minutes.
