March 6, 2025 at 8:43 amRevently I visited to Jaipur Amer fort and took a guide. The guide took to a shop claiming its run by villagers and govt affiliated naming Amer Village Corporation. The shopkeeper was very keen to sell me the Rajai (blanket) at Rs. 4500 claiming its medicated and all season. I got it for Rs. 3000. It will be hot in winter and cold in summers. If any issues, you can return or replace in 5 yrs. All these promises made me purchase one and when I got it delivered I realised it was a scam. It’s not cold in summers and not medicated at all. The owner is not accepting the return now claiming this is not at all possible. The shop reviews are also very bad and many faced this issue but no action was talen. What can I do in this situation? I want to put an end to this scam. -

March 6, 2025 at 11:08 amUPDATE: Following one of the comments, I have sent an email to Tourist Department Rajasthan tagging few authorities. They have reached out to me to know the details and contacted the seller regarding the same. Seller is ready to issue refund once I ship them the blanket back
