January 17, 2025 at 11:07 amSo we ordered prescription glasses around the last week of December. They sent the glasses without prescription. So we raised a complaint and they asked us to send it back (in our expense) and they will refund the amount as soon as they receive it. Meanwhile, my wife was in urgent need of those glasses as she couldn’t work wihout it. They akse dus to pay again for a new order and they will initiate the refund once they recieve the wrong specs. We trusted them and we did.Now we have been following up with them from 2 weeks and they have stopped responding to our calls, messages and emails. When we call them from a different number they answer and promise us that they will issue the refund by EOD, 10 mins, 30 mins etc etc.
We have spent INR 3500/- for the glasses and courier charges too. What action can I take?
My wife resorted to commenting on their instagram posts about it and they just delete her comment and don’t even acknowledge it. She has also sent long message to the CEO and even she has not responded.
Now for both of us, its no more about the money. We want to teach them a lesson and ensure they or any other brands don’t take their customers so lightly.
What Immediate actions can I take?
Why do so many Indian brands lack basic work and business ethics? From this experience we have lost trust from all new startups.

January 17, 2025 at 11:40 amSame thing is happening with me as well, they’ve stopped responding. Whenever I comment on their posts on social media, they simply ask for order ID and don’t respond. They arent picking my calls or replying to my messages and by the looks of it, I think they’re intentionally sending wrong orders to make money. I urge everybody to help me-

January 17, 2025 at 3:10 pmI agree with your last point! Indian brands, especially the new ones, take their customers for a wild ride. Zero accountability and zero ethics.Sad that dude to some of these pathetic companies, general customers lose trust with other brands as well.
Do screw them over. Do not let it go. Hold them responsible.
I did the same with Bajaj Finance, where I was charged an emi twice. They stopped responding to calls, emails, and whatnot. Went through the customer dispute and got my money back in 29 days.
But I was still not satisfied. I wanted to sue them. My lawyer friend advised me against it, stating it’s just not worth my busy schedule and energy. Also, our laws are not so string like the West.
