Don’t go to police station, they need to serve notice on your address.
Simply say if they will ask , I don’t check my e-mail.

Hire lawyer.

Advocate HC here, notice should be served in person, however it is common practice now a days whereby whatsApp /email is used. They will however, not shy away to send it to you, personally as well, if the situation so arises, considering if it’s actually a genuine notice and not some digital arrest type scam, feel free to discuss more.
