Khi, me (M, 22) and my now ex (F, 22), started dating since December 2022, we had our ups and down in the relationship like everyone else. But everything changed in February 2024, when she got diagnosed with herpes and i have never had any physical relation in the past. Still she blamed me entirely and started saying things that if anyone im her family finds out i gave it to her, i would suffer a lot. She used to say stuff like ‘ tere kisi rishtedaar ne bachpan me tujhe kiss kiya hoga toh unka herpes tujhe aya hoga and tu ne mujhe de diya’. And i started believing all these things and felt that i actually gave it to her. I started thinking that i got raped when i was a kid and got herpes from that incident. I have paid around 5 to 10k on her treatments and doctor fees, she used to say she will pay half of it as we both are students but after a few days she would fight and say ‘tu ne diya hai ye sti mujhe, me kyu du paise vapas’. And after this anytime we went out she promised to pay half for it but a lot of fucking times she didn’t, im a student who lost his father when he was 17,i dont have that kind of money to always pay for both. on the other hand she had lakhs in her bank but never paid me back for shit, all this went on for a year, she kept blaming me for this and made me do shit and used all this as an excuse. I always knew i didn’t give it to her, and during this time i mightve broken up w her 7 8 times and everytime she has either cut herself up or came to my house and yelled out loudly and said she won’t leave my house until i patch up with her. All of this has been traumatizing soooo bad and on top of this acted like i gave her an sti and making me do shit i never wanted to do. All this pushed me to be a nicotine addict, ignore my own health and serve her only. I didn’t even have money to treat myself once and in the next very few days later when she was at her hostel she didnt feel like cooking so i told her to order food, she said no and went for a bath, and after her bath she fought with me because i hadn’t sent her food through zomato or zepto. Right now she owes me 15 to 20k according to rough calculations, it is definitely around 30 to 40k.
Few weeks back she told me that she will pay me 500 to 1k rs every month end. She paid me 1k last month.
Few days back i asked her for rest of my stuff back which she had and the money she said she will pay me every month. She told me she doesn’t want to get involved in all this anymore and gave me her brothers phone number, i contacted him and i told him that your sister owes me around 40k to which he replied that its an absurd amount, so later i sent him SS of bills and what not which rounded upto 14k, and after that he did not reply.
I have no idea what to do now, i need my money back also im scared cuz anything can go wrong or i can be framed wrongly by her or idk what.
Was thinking of filing a complaint, someone please guide me what to do further. -

BGood luck explaining all of that to a judge. In all honesty, you don’t have a great shot at recovering that through any complaint or suit amount albeit you can try either by convincing her or being tough, anything which suits you. Hope you’re in a better position in future though, because that sounds like a top tier kalesh.

Once, when I was around your age, I may or may not have paid for a cab fare for someone when I used to take autos myself. Ofcourse, I was scammed but I learned a lesson but a good lesson.
Wait till you start earning and start coming across insurance agents, you’ll learn more.

CTake it from her parents. If she gave an STI to you, she cheated on you. She got it from someone else. Tell her you will tell her parents or return your money.

Kher whole family is fucked up, even her dad cheated on her mom and gave her an sti (hpv) and because of the hpv, her mom got cancer and later she passed away, no point in bringing it up with his dad, he’ll ruin her and my career both

UGet rid off her as soon as possible. Then visit a doctor and try to get rid off herpes. Forget your money. She can give only what she has and that’s herpes not money.

Herpes Simplex Virus can only be managed once you get it. There is no cure, to date. Anytime you get stressed etc, you can get painful blisters appear every few months. It is for lifetime. All that you can do is manage the symptoms of HSV

SI have dated 3 girls till now, I doubt if I will go for 4th, I feel my luck woundn’t be with me this time, like I will probably find the girl like you are mentioning in the story or some crazy women who will just ruin my life. I am paranoid and scared to date any women because of all such cases popping up. All 3 girls I dated were gold but in all 3 it turned into long distance and then eventually breakup.
Don’t go after money, she might even put fake cases on you given her nature and how shameless she is, make peace with what has happened and stay away from her and focus on your own growth. The laws in this country are very against men, and some woman take advantage of that. Hopefully you find a resolution my g. -

CYou could technically contract herpes from a relative while young- even through a kiss- most of us are exposed to it but our bodies are able to keep it dormant. The moment stress or illness comes your way and your immune system is overwhelmed, the dormant virus activates and results in a breakout. And the virus is transmitted only through a breakout/sores/oozing. You can live with herpes all your life
