January 29, 2025 at 9:35 pmI’m working at a small startup, where my salary hasn’t been paid for the past 3 months. They’ve been running low on funds but been getting future timelines which they’re not backing at all. They’re raising their another round, but not sure when it’ll be done or if they’ll be able to close it. I’m already exiting from the company.
They’ve shared a small date for payment of 1 month’s salary on the date I’m existing and the rest seems arbitrary for now.
I don’t want to burn bridges and end it on a good note so I have been agreeing to their timelines. But now as I’m serving my last few days, I want to make sure I’m getting paid and they don’t default.
PS: My PF account was not created by the employer.
What are the actions I can take to ensure I’m getting paid?

January 29, 2025 at 10:18 pmYou can’t bro. You really can’t.Been through this hell rot already and left my three months pay check with a similar situation but unfortunately I had to leave it before it was too late and they could have sucked my already little to no left blood. A few of the people suggested that I should send them a legal notice ‘as a way for this acknowledgement ‘ but I dropped this idea and chose to better move on to the next step.

January 29, 2025 at 10:20 pmCurious, why did you not send a legal notice?Legally they’re bound to pay you right and can’t default as well
