February 4, 2025 at 3:48 amA female constable abused and used derogatory language towards my female friend and me because we were sitting on a bench at the junction. She threatened us both. As students, we regularly pass through the railway junction on our way to and from our institute, which is located nearby. After our institute closed, we were on our way to the bus stand, but my friend was feeling unwell due to a cold. I suggested that we sit down for a couple of minutes, but the female police officer began scolding us. We apologized and pleaded with her, but she continued to behave rudely and misused her authority. She even went so far as to verbally abuse my friend and make inappropriate comments about her character. I would like to file a complaint against this female police constable, as her behavior was completely unacceptable and crossed the boundaries of human decency. -

February 4, 2025 at 4:33 amYour best bet would be to find any source of CCTV from nearby area. Otherwise it’s only your words against their “law”. -

February 4, 2025 at 4:48 amStudents can use this –If something like this happens just politely say sorry but while saying sorry take their name (name badge on the chest) and just ask which police station they belong to. Say “Sorry I cant give you my father’s name but I will request him to call your Zonal Incharge (DCP in city or SP in Rural). Immediately the abuses will stop and you leave from their. Speak with confidence and in their dept language.

February 4, 2025 at 5:56 amThey do that. I was hurt by one several years ago. My family was complicit. The only way out of this is by being polite and sweettalking your way out of the situation. Use words like Ma’am, and Ji, didi. Don’t argue, or raise your voice. If you hit them, even in self defence, they will arrest you. In fact, avoid the route or walk around with more people. -
