Is it possible to marry in 3 4 days in special marriage act without putting notice on notice board in delhi?? In you tube many lawyers clam it. Is it possible ?

BNo. What they will do is ask you to convert to Hinduism then marry at Arya Samaj receive certificate under Hindu Marriage Act.

EJust go to arya samaz mandir and do the conversion and marriage. This would hardly take 1-2 hours
The pandits will look into proper time when the marriage can take place. Otherwise there shouldn’t be any delay.

Go to a mandir, first do your dharm parivartan to hundi then get married in Hindu rituals
Do video shoot of both the dharm parivartan and marriage.
Wear traditional hindu clothes while doing it
Get receipt from the mandir..it will be proof.
That should be more than enough. The pics, videos should be more than enough to make you two married.

EThen you need to visit marriage registrar office and check what rules they follow in your state. Generally it’s 30days waiting period.
You can get in touch with local lawyer who will help in expending things. Money needs to be shed for it. As they can file your application in backdate.

BI suggest you move to any other city/state which have bit more religious freedom and no intolerance.
I suggest Kerala or Chennai. Get court marriage registered there.
Also, dont go back to Gujarat for own safety.
Also, don’t rush. If not financially stable yet, don’t do it. Better to secure future first.

BNAL, I am going to suggest a grey area based on all information provided.
You need to be resident in district where you will be registering under Special Marriage Act for atleast 30 days.
I suggest you get his address in Aadhaar changed to any other place, say house of friend in Kerala,TN or Karnataka.
After 30 days, start procedure for registration. Notice will be put in Registrar of that district. Hence after expiry of 30 days you will both have to travel to said State along with 2 witnesses for final registration.
After this, you may revert the address in Aadhaar back to normal.

UNAL, one of my friends was in a similar situation and the only option was to wait for the 30 days notice period. Disappear for a while if you’re scared of any repercussions.
If anybody threatens you make sure to file a police complaint. Take a lawyer along while filing a complaint.

SI have a question to ask here… how much money can you spare?
Coz in a country like India, it is not difficult to escape anywhere, rent for a month, become resident of that state, and then go for Special marriage act.
The 30 days waiting is a must, cannot be skipped under any circumstances.
You also.have the option to look at other countries as well (that is why I asked about the money), your case (risk due to inter-faith marriage) is a valid case for claiming refugee status in many countries.

If you’re getting married under the Special Marriage Act, then you cannot skip this notice period. However, if this notice is in Delhi and not in Gujarat, it is unlikely that your families will see it.
I personally don’t feel that this portion of the law is constitutionally valid. I would challenge it.

SThe notice is usually posted on the registrar’s notice boards at the place of residence of the parties. Which would mean your home addresses as well.
I’d strongly suggest filing a writ because this rule is unfair and unconstitutional. You have a pretty strong case in my opinion to get this rule overturned.
