April 20, 2025 at 9:56 amI am a 4th year BALLB student studying in a tier 2 clg in india . I want to do my masters from a foreign university. But my friends and peers say that i should not do it because it would not help me in practice and put unnecessary financial load on me. Should i do my masters from foreign and come back to india or just stay there and try to get a job there or should i just drop my plan and do it in india itself ? What do i do help me with this -

April 20, 2025 at 10:02 amIf you’re planning to practice then yes a masters won’t help. If you want to get into corporate, it will help. Decision is yours. -

April 20, 2025 at 10:23 amI’m an Advocate l, I’ve also done my LLM.Questions to be asked.
1. Did I benefit from doing a masters since I’m a practicing Advocate? No. It hasn’t been useful.
2. Could I have spent the time and money that the LLM cost me elsewhere? Yes, absolutely. I could have entered practice much earlier and I would have had the time and money to sustain better in practice.
