Okay, so here’s the deal. My partner and I occasionally enjoWey some private time on our own balcony. We live on a higher floor, away from street view, and never thought anyone could see us. But apparently, my neighbor (one floor above) has been watching us for weeks and finally decided today was the day to act outraged.
Now, this creep is threatening to file a police complaint against me for “public indecency.” Meanwhile, isn’t he the one guilty of voyeurism under Section 354C IPC? I mean, I get it—if we were in full public view, that’s one thing. But this dude had to actively look down from his window multiple times, and only now he suddenly has a moral crisis?
I’m seriously considering filing a counter-complaint for harassment and voyeurism. I mean, if he’s been that interested in our private moments, shouldn’t he be the one explaining why he’s been keeping a free subscription to our balcony activities?
TL;DR: Nosy neighbor has been watching my private moments, is now acting offended, and wants to take legal action against me Who’s actually in the wrong here?
