Help needed : Contested Divorce Doubt

Any husband here who filed for contested divorce, how long did it take for the summon from court to reach your wife and for the court to receive the acknowledgement? In my case, I got the first date 1.5 months since filing, but no acknowledgement was received on the day of appearance. Now my lawyer is saying court has asked her to send summon (previous summon went officially through court’s internal transfer system). I doubt my lawyer to certain extent that she is trying to drag the case to keep minting money from me

Once the court issues notice on your petition to your wife, the lawyer has to file Process Fee and has to give sets of petition to the court staff and then they send the summon to the other party. If the lawyer fails to file the Process fee or fail to follow up with the court staff, then the same can be delayed.
