UHi everyone,
Wanted an idea of how I could approach the problem I’ve mentioned in the title. To give you all some context, my father has gotten a lung transplant recently. The was a very expensive surgery and we have already spent ~70L. Recently we got the news that his organ is being rejected from his body and need to get follow on treatments.
At this moment the additional cost for this treatment is very high for me and to reduce the financial strain I have asked the hospital to allow us to buy medicines externally as they are much cheaper. However, they have refused to allow us to do it. I read up a few articles online that mentioned that a hospital cannot force it’s patients to buy medicines in house. Would anyone here have any suggestions or advice.

UWhich hospital is it? And what’s the specifications of medicines, whether it’s imported?
Hospitals normally refuse outside medicines for chances of it being spurious, if it’s made within the country and is being brought from a reputed chain of pharmacy, I see no reason why they could refuse it legally, ethically or morally! The devil lies in the details and there is no straight jacket answer to it!
