Hospital not providing itemized bill

Recently my mother had undergone a surgery, but the hospital is not ready to provide an itemized bill for the same even on requesting. They say the surgery was in some package. I want to know what are my options. They have over charged and insurance company has not covered the entire amount.

They are obligated to give you a break up.

Send them an email asking for this..

I recently claimed insurance which was part of the package..when Insurance asked for break up.

Hospital provided the same.

The package things should have been discussed before and confirmation from the insurer. If not, they have to provide an itemized bill.

NAL but I’m an insurance broker. They are not obligated to share the break up bill. The bill and its receipt is given is what they are mandated to give by law.

The amount not covered by the insurer was it a cashless claim or reimbursement? Need additional details

it was cashless, they are saying it was under gipsa ppn package
