VHi everyone, currently stuck in this situation. I was hunting for flat in Pune and I show one flat via broker. I visited house met with an owner and finalized deal. I paid broker the brokerage of one month and owner the advanced rent and deposit. So all done from my side. Broker insisted to use their rent agreement service for agreement. We did biomatrix on the same and then only I paid this amount. Now ideally rent agreement should be come withing 3 days but agreement guy added witness very late and delayed agreement submission. Now I have 3 days left to shift and I don’t have agreement. Owner is not allowing me to in without signed copy. Agreement guys shared submitted version but owner not agreeing on this. Is police going to be helpful to recover amount in case this gets out of hand? Sorry I may be over thinking but mentally I am struggling.

QWhat is causing the delay in getting the agreement? What is being told to you by the agreement guys?

VHe has submitted it on [https://efilingigr.maharashtra.gov.in/ereg/](https://efilingigr.maharashtra.gov.in/ereg/), I have done it before and usually you get agreement after 3-4 days. Actually we gave biomatrix on 21st but dude didn’t submit it till 25th. Now next 2-3 days are weekend and holiday so I am f*cked!

VLast year due to some glitch I didn’t get copy till 20 days. Owner at that time allowed me to stay as we did biomatrix. I hope it gets done soon. I am in talk with some other flat owner who said he will allow and is pretty easy to work with so I was thinking what can be done now. Thing is if it gets delayed beyond agreement date is it possible to retrieve money cause I didn’t get keys on mentioned start date of contract?
