How can my client who lives in India pay me in the USA?

  My client lives in India, and I live in the USA. I’ve found that due to remittance laws in India, it’s very difficult to send money to someone in the US, or out of the country at all for that matter. How can they pay me for professional services? It’s not for one of the generic reasons for sending money that requires proof.

  Do you have Paypal? You can get them to pay you through Paypal/ Wise account. They will have to pay using their international debit/ credit card.

    You seem knowledgeable about international transactions.
    
    Can you tell me that if I receive money monthly on behalf of someone who cannot have PayPal, will there be any implications on me?
    
    Like since PayPal has Pan card linked to it and a bank account.
    
    Can I do it or is it illegal?

        Can I receive money on PayPal and give it to my friend through UPI without any complications?
        
        Taxt is fine, I can pay it, but will there be any legal issues?

  i think an easy way would be for you to invoice them with some software which has international gateway (stripe?) and they shud perhaps have an international credit or debit card.

  Just ask them to send through SWIFT – just make sure they send it under the right purpose code for outward remittance.
  
  If you wish to avoid banking channel, use crypto.

  NAL, but have made payments from India to entities in other countries.
  
  Your client should be making a bank transfer. They are to approach their bank’s foreign exchange branch. They will have to fill out a couple of forms on the nature of the transaction, attach proofs such as invoice, purchase order, etc. They will also have to sign a couple of declarations and waivers. The bank will assist with the process.
  
  This is assuming that this is a business transaction and not a personal one.

  Most of the Indian businesses avoid doing business with Indian clients because of pay delay and all. I suggest you avoid that . 80 percent chance he is not going to pay you.
