SIts not possible to change caste in india but i have seen some people changed it by money
idk how…. is it possible ?
Like they took foreign citizenship and get rid of their caste
Suppose If I want to remove my caste
Then whats the procedure which is the best country to get citizenship or is their any other way to do so… -

If your surname is not caste specific then you can just claim to be of ABC caste to others.
If your surname got caste links then you can just inform your name something else and inform other that that’s your caste.
Also, need to say bye to your home village/or place where you live.

SYou can claim to be of any caste unless it is to avail benefit of government schemes or marry inter caste. Question is why do you want to?

SEven if you somehow manage to do it, it’s the matter of acceptance.
E.g. 1) if you belong to a lower caste and want to change your caste to upper caste, whichever caste you change to no one from that caste is really going to accept you and never will allow Roti-Beti exchange. For them you are always going to be from a lower caste.
E g. 2) If you belong to an upper caste and want to change to a lower caste then almost in a whiff everyone from the lower will accept you but good luck proving to the government that you are from that lower caste. Also you are not eligible for any government schemes or benefits or reservation for that lower caste.

MYou can convert. Or just change your name to something neutral. I’m never having kids but if I did I’d name them after flowers, violet, tulip, bluebell, rain, sky. I’m an agnostic and I don’t believe in religion.

QIt is possible though a bit expensive. You have to first make a big empty cow of real gold. Then crawl underneath from one side to the other when Brahmins chant mantras. After the process, dismantle the cow and donate it to Brahmins. Wow, you have now changed your caste as per your wish!!

BI have seen SHARMA, VERMA, shukla getting SC ST certificate. I have seen people with Mercedes S class with OBC NCL certificate, I have seen people whose house were raided by IT dept. Have EWS certificate.

The list of scheduled castes varies by state. In certain states like MP vermas are scheduled. In Uttarakhand, Kapoors and Kashyaps are scheduled castes as well.
