How do you lookup old verdicts to make your case strong?

Hi All,

I wanted to know how you (lawyers only) dig up old cases and old judgments to support your case? Is this even done, and if so, how helpful is it in your ongoing case? Does it impact the result?

Do you use books? Read papers? Or you’ve a staff which keeps knowledge of such cases?

They have offices filled up thousands of books, it requires deep research and with time you get used to it.

No, I just wanted to understand which parts of your professional work are time-consuming and manual, to see if they can be automated or tackled more efficiently. I’m just a developer trying to build something useful for lawyers in this case.
