March 16, 2025 at 11:32 amHey everyone,My family is planning to finalize the land partition between my father and his brothers. But knowing my cousins (the sons and daughter of my elder uncle), theyโll likely resist the process, and there are other complications too.
I need a good lawyer to discuss the legal details and figure out the best way forward. I live in Agra, and Iโm pretty inexperienced when it comes to legal matters. Since Iโm my fatherโs only child, I have to handle this myself, but I donโt have any legal connections here.
If anyone can recommend a reliable litigation lawyer or give me general advice on finding one, Iโd really appreciate it.
TL;DR: Need a good litigation lawyer in Agra to handle a complicated family land partition. I have no legal experience or connections, so any recommendations or advice would help.

March 16, 2025 at 11:57 amWhile I can’t recommend a specific advocate, Iโd suggest not relying blindly on any lawyer.. educate yourself on property law, especially the legal aspects of partition, by reading books or recent judgments. The drafting of your case is crucial, as a weak foundation can undermine your position, so ensure it is thorough and well structured. Stay actively involved, ask your lawyer strategic questions, and understand their approach. Since you anticipate resistance, be prepared for legal objections and delays. And yes, seeking help on different online forums like Reddit would also help.-
