Call around from known acquaintances/friends or work colleagues.
If working in an established company, try consulting the panel advocate saying you have some personal work.

do research about good lawyers in your area, and in what field do you need one. or else visit your district court, and ask the staff there for the best lawyer with face value

Can the lawyers in the district court be trusted? Some people advising me against going to a lawyer because they will use the misuse the information I provide to them against me for making me stuck in a legal battle

there are consequences for every act, whether you approach a legal counsel or not. it is your choice at the end, you will get benefit or face loss.

Well I am a law student in 4th year and this December I interned under a firm in Delhi, they were really good, if we exclude the part where they didn’t give me any stipend, everything was perfect and what a law student can ask for, I can help you get in touch with them if you want, may I know what kind of consultation you want, if its something I know I will personally help you 🐼✌️

There are websites where you can ask legal questions. Google it. You can also initially ask ChatGPT to pretend it is a lawyer in India and ask questions, but remember that ChatGPT makes mistskes.
P.s.: I wanted to build a website where people can recommend professionals known to them. If such a website was built, would you pay to use it? What features would you expect and what would you pay?
