April 29, 2025 at 2:08 pmHey everyone — whether you’re preparing for a court case or just need to recover crucial deleted messages, here’s a quick, lawyer-friendly guide to get your WhatsApp data back — even without a cloud backup.—
Step 1: Try This Before Using Any Software (Android only)
Use Notification History (Android 11 and above)
Go to:
Settings > Notifications > Advanced Settings > Notification HistoryIf it’s enabled, you can read deleted messages directly from your notification log — no app needed.
If it’s not enabled, consider installing apps like NotifLog or WAMR to capture messages before they get deleted in the future.
—
Step 2: Use Professional Recovery Software (Android & iOS)
Most tools offer free scan & preview, but full recovery usually requires a paid version.—
A. Dr.Fone – WhatsApp Recovery (Wondershare)
Works on: Android & iOS
Get it from: drfone.wondershare.comHow to Use:
1. Install Dr.Fone on your PC.
2. Launch it > Select “Recover” > Choose “WhatsApp Messages Recovery”
3. Connect your phone (Enable USB Debugging for Android / Trust PC for iPhone)
4. Click Start Scan
5. Preview recoverable chats, images, videos
6. Choose what to restore — save to PC or push back to phone
Note: Deep scan on Android may require root access.
—
B. iMyFone ChatsBack – WhatsApp Recovery
Works on: Android & iOS
Download from: imyfone.comHow to Use:
1. Open the tool > Choose a recovery mode:
Device Storage
Google Drive
iTunes
History Records (if previously scanned)
2. Connect your phone
3. Start Scan
4. Preview deleted messages & media
5. Recover to PC or back into WhatsApp
Bonus: Can extract chats directly from Google Drive without reinstalling WhatsApp.
—
C. Tenorshare UltData – WhatsApp Recovery
Works on: Android & iOS
Download from: tenorshare.comHow to Use:
1. Install & open the app
2. Select WhatsApp Recovery
3. Choose your OS (Android or iOS)
4. Connect your phone
5. Scan for deleted messages, group chats, stickers, media
6. Preview & recover what matters
Note: USB Debugging or rooting might be needed for best Android results — only root with proper precautions.
—
Final Tips for a Successful Recovery:
Avoid using your phone heavily after deletion (prevents overwriting).
Enable regular WhatsApp backups to stay future-proof.

P. S. I am thinking to monetize my skills what do you think should be my approach for marketing and what price I can charge to fellow lawyers slash techie for my knowledge which can be useful in their legal procedures in India.
