How to remove Kumari title from birth certificate and Aadhar card?

My cousin’s name on her birth certificate is *Kumari First name Last name* and hence the same got passed on to her Aadhar card. But now her parents want to remove it because the name becomes too long.

First you need to make name change affidavit, put name change ad in one regional newspapers and english newspaper.
Go to aadhar center with them to change name.

Someone told them that they cannot change the name in the birth certificate. So is that true because it would be needed to change the name in the Aadhar card right?

No you only need the gazette notification, newspaper publication and old aadhar card.

After making the affidavit and newspaper ads the name needs to be changed in the birth certificate right because the certificate will be needed for Aadhar?
