April 14, 2025 at 9:09 amI have shipped my 50inch TV using some courier company using Shiprocket app.On post delivery my tv display is showing 5 verticals lines which is damaged. There are no physical damages but the display is damaged due to impact or reckless handling.
When contacting shiprocket to claim to compensation they contact the courier and they are denying with reasons, the package is intact and it is a fragile item. Since no physical damages is observed they declined to compensate me.
I replied them by questioning, if fragile item cannot be compensated then why did you take my order to ship it. Also, they didn’t paste any fragile tapes on my tv box which is another bummer for handling instructions. They didn’t answer about their flaws but counter attacked me saying the fragile items needs to be packed using a bubble wrap.
I used TV original packing box with its inner protection for screen and all. If I use bubble wrap them the tv won’t be fitting inside the box. If they deny my packing then they are denying the whole tv packing box all around the world.
I want to sue them at any means but how do I do this? A friend of mine shared me the consumer grievance website to file a complaint. Will it work to sue them?

April 14, 2025 at 2:56 pmThe only packing guideline that they acclaim to say that I didn’t wrap the inside tv with bubble wrap.My point is, I used the original tv packing that any brand ships to consumers in general.
If I use the bubble wrap then tv will not slide down to fit inside the precut thermocol shape.I say, Any packing style that doesn’t use original tv box is not safe by any means.
I believe their packing Guideline will become an exception for TV packing if a user is using original tv box. Also the original tv box contains a screen protection sheet with thermocol facing to screen to protect the display panel.
Out of all the blame game that playing with me, they still failed to answer why they didn’t paste the Fragile tape on my tv box that would’ve helped to handle the package lil sensitively.
Also, the pickup boy picked the product using a 2 wheeler Scooty to save their transport expenses.
One last point to say, the display panel is completely moved to Right side of the tv frame and leaves huge gap on left side of the frame. This the proof for the impact of the reckless handling.
I have my points to show their reckless handling but they fail to answer of my questions but to say product is “intact and fragile” product.

April 14, 2025 at 3:40 pmNo. The delivery boy needed a hand of mine to deliver at my doorstep. He was the Lone driver and delivery boy as well.
Also, it’s a 50m walk into the alley to deliver. So I gave him a hand during the delivery and didn’t recorded the video.-

April 16, 2025 at 7:57 amLawyer here, you can sue them and it might or might not work but the thing to note here is please don’t register a consumer complaint on your own as it is supposed to be technical especially in your case, like, it should be drafted according to the paper’ work and proof you have. Contract a lawyer show him your documents and get his opinion.-

April 29, 2025 at 11:38 amIf the facts are as you say then yes. I’ve been involved with a lot of consumer cases and generally people get compensation in terms of mrp of the item and a little bit of interest. But again you can go through their terms and conditions once before starting the litigation journey, it’ll help you.-

April 29, 2025 at 11:47 amTheir terms & condition for packing a fragile item is to bubble wrap the item and then put it inside the packing box. Here in my case, i cannot bubble wrap my tv display bcoz it can’t fit any extra thickness inside the tv box fittings. So I used the 100% original tv box packing with all the protection they gave for tv shipment.
So will it be an exception to my packing? If I use bubble wrap and other packing then its not certified packing at all. I used the original tv box and protection inside. So this part im confident.
