January 11, 2025 at 5:31 pmI made a payment of 50k to a wrong upi id. I tried calling them after that but was unable to connect. Then I raised this issue with my bank, they raised a ticket but said they wont be able to do anything as this is an upi transaction. At the same time the bank customer care advised me to file a complaint on 1930. I followed the same and did an online complaint. Later that day after filing the complaint, I was able to connect with the person I sent the money. By providing all the proofs of transaction they agreed to send my money back. We reached a mutual ground and later that night they sent me half the money, as the transaction limit for the day was over. They agreed to send the remaining amount back the other day.
By the morning both our accounts were freeze, most amount on their bank account and some amount on mine. Since that day I have been trying to withdraw my complaint but I’m unable to. I tried to withdraw the complaint that night itself but I was not able to do so online as it said “no data found”.
I have also given written application to IO and he read the application and accepted it but when I called him after 2days ge said I have to give the application again. What can I do to make sure my complaint is withdrawn and lien is removed from both the accounts? Please help!!

January 11, 2025 at 5:40 pmAn IO is appointed and I have given him a written application he read ot, checked ot himself and accepted it. Now when I called him after two days he said he’s too busy and I should wait for 5-6 days, then he asked me to withdraw online, when I mentioned I couldn’t do it online then he asked me to come to police station again and write another letter as the previous one is not sufficient. I think he’s just pushing it forward. I really need to unfreeze the account. Should I give a written application to dcp?

January 12, 2025 at 8:58 amWrite to Senior management cc the cs and escalation/grievance department.
Request them and in end write in a very subtle manner as a last resort I may have to complain to RBI Ombudsman.
Use AI to find out email ids and draft emails.-
