USo, on March 14, I met a girl on Tinder. She was from Philippines and seemed legit and we talked for a moment. She asked for my instagram and I gave her then she gave her number, I added her. We talked for a moment and then she told me that she’s feeling bored and want to do some fun. She did video call first, but I cut it first time. Then she told me that she have something to show me. I was idiot i accepted the call again. She started to undressing her and i wasn’t able to control myself. When she asked to see mine, I opened the camera. There was my face in the video, in front camera, there was my face and in back camera, there was my pee pee and then I cut the call. After few seconds, she comes up with my video and a list of my instagram followers and asked to give me 80000 pounds or she will send my video to my followers which includes my family and friends, which is so beyond my imagination. Then she came down to 100$, i said I can give you only 25$ and settle everything, I gave her 25$ but later she comes up that she needs to complete 100$. I said I will give you next month on April 14 and she told me that if I block her or change my number, she will leak. But on Saturday, i blocked her.
I’m still scared that what will happen after a month if she find out that I blocked her. Guys please help me.

QHappened same thing with my friend and the person asked for Rs. 10000 initially and we settled for Rs. 300 after a whole night of bargaining 😂….in the morning we went to cyber cell to file a complaint, after that we just blocked the person after abusing him a lot on whatsapp call, my friend deactivated his social media accounts for a while and removed his sim card. Nothing happened after that it’s been 3-4 years now

UBhai tension na le, usko bol $100 or lele and famous karde. It happened to me a few years ago, they said that they’d sent it to my mom, sis, my best friend and shit and when I checked it wasn’t there on any of their phones. I said the same thing ki 1000 lele and mujhe aur famous karde. ISTG, didn’t receive a reply back from them.

CThis happened with someone I know. He changed his phone number and deactivated all his social media accounts for a while. They did not leak the video.
I think they just blackmail you to extort some money. They use the fear. Leaking the video isn’t going to be beneficial for them also. In fact, it increases the chances of getting a case filed against them if they leak the video. -

SDo not panic, face bravely. Don’t give any money to her. If she post any of your personal u can directly lodge a cyber complaint in online. They block the IP address. Nothing to fear.Be aware next time. And if your video goes viral, no one reminds it. Everyone is busy with their life they forget it. Most of the people are not completely good, thing is they aren’t pointed out

BHey, you learnt a lesson there.
Chances are, if you had paid the hundred dollars, she would have come back for more.
She is likely to leak your video, irrespective of the case. When that happens, wait for some follower of yours to reach out to you highlighting this.

I got to learn today that a disturbing video with ‘me’ in it is being forwarded to my insta family. I did get a random video call which I picked up. Seeing nobody there, and realising it was an international number I quickly disconnected. It appears to me my face has been plastered on some video to either defame me or extort money, though the real reason remains a mystery to me.
I have already filed a complaint with the local cyber crime cell on the subject. If you do receive the said video, please reach out to me and help me nab the perpetrators. If this can happen to me, it can happen to you too.
Be safe out there, it’s a crazy world we live in.

The only thing you can do now is…. Not respond to her msgs… make a new account n add your friends there … n delete this one n have some self control -
