22 to 24 people entered into our property by jumping over the compound and turned on the bore motor and started getting water in the early morning when my grandmother went and asked them what are they doing they pushed my grandmother and now her ankle is broken
Hearing the her scream I woke up i my half awake state I was screaming get out or I will beat all of you when they didn’t respond and my grandmother was still on the ground i got angry i started punching them and screaming ಮಾನ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ಇಲ್ಲಾ you mental retards trying to kill my grandmother continuously it seems according to the neighbours after i punchd most of they ran away but some of them tried to sneak back in again so i threw my slippers at them which they took and ran away some of those peoples husband’s came and threatened my dad that they will give police complaint that i touched their wives
Will I get arrested and BTW I’m 16

Could you please help
And i also found out later that those people are illegally living in tents on PWD land

I know its kinda stupid put a Sign in the local , hindi , as well as english saying trespassers will be prosecuted and go set up a camera facing towards the bore well.

This all the you the ammunition to present in front of the police who will be difficult with you without these thing, also get medical record for the ankle.

Don’t panic be smart collect evidence if the police fails to register complain in the face of evidence go over his head simple.

Secure your perimeter. Make the walls high with priky wires. (cost involved).

Use a lock in the main entrance.

Also if they had just asked us for water we would have given them at rate of 150₹ per tanker if they would come to our tanker
Which they could have done from the stuff they did

Solution steps :

1. good fencing + pricky wire [ cost involved ]

2. BIG godrej lock in the main entrance

3. change the motor switch to house inside where you / family can operate. [ cost involved]

**This would solve your problem 99%**

If still troubles.

4. Take help from Police and Lawyer [ expensive *option* ]

what is the issue with this ? it is most easy , buy a long wire and simple on/off switch the current. keep that switch inside house.

and for other queries , I dont think PWD is relevant here.

I asked about the PWD because these people are probably illegaly living on PWD land
They probably entered the property by cutting the fence wire as it was not broken 2 day’s ago
According to one of our neighbours which my dad also confirmed

Whatever you did is in self-defense; they illegally entered your property, attacked your family members, and tried to kill them.
Go to the police and file a complaint about it, get restraining orders.

Install a master switch to the borewell motor connection in a secure place which only your family can access!

change the motor switch to other place as other user commented here. It still costs though.

it makes sense.

Bringing a lawyer involves cost. This is your last option.
