February 1, 2025 at 4:37 amI and my friend found a flat which had 2 rooms available in a 3BHK property in Gurgaon. The owner showed the property and we agreed to move in from today and paid 20k as advance. The lease was still to be drafted and signed. The owner sent us a copy of lease yesterday which has some clauses that we are not sure about.Looking at these clauses I feel the agreement won’t happen, so will I get the money back that I paid earlier?

February 1, 2025 at 5:26 amI am not a lawyer. If he doesn’t give back money, prepare legal notice using chat gpt and print it and send through speed post. He will likely give after receiving it. If he still doesn’t, call 1930 and report cyber fraud assuming you paid online
