Hello i purchased this new sim and i am having a problem with this number that there is already a bank account linked to this number of previous user and i want to open bank account in that bank but you can connect only one bank account
now what should i do ?

You can open an account regardless. visit a branch they are obliged to overwrite your new account as the linked account as the no. Is in your name now.
If you can’t physically visit. Call the bank and ask them to unlink this no. As you are getting unwanted messages or you are having trouble in setting up online services with the bank.

They said that they are unable to open account to a this number as they can only only open one bank account to a number

I had the same issue, since I had another number, the bank linked my account with that number and then I requested to change my number and got it changed. I’d suggest checking with the bank if the same is possible for you.
