I wanted to sell a car owned in my name and I’m selling it to a dealer of a second hand car showroom.
He isn’t ready to change ownership but is willing to sign any paperwork that does not require him to change the ownership to his name.

what should I do?
should I proceed or just call of the deal?
what do I need to get if I am to proceed?
is getting his sellers license and getting a stamp paper proving the sale enough(the stamp paper original would be kept by him as he’s the second party)
what should I do?

Call off the deal, any future accidents caused or ruckus or fines will be under your name. Sell it to someone who is willing to change the ownership.
