March 26, 2025 at 1:58 pmI joined a company with high hopes, ready to contribute and grow. But from day one, I faced something I never expected constant bias, unnecessary criticism, and deliberate targeting. The reason? Not my work, not my attitude, but personal preferences and office politics beyond my control. The person who held my position before me left due to inappropriate behavior from a client. After she resigned, I stepped in, but it quickly became clear that the client was not willing to accept anyone else. He constantly criticized my work, spoke negatively about me behind my back, and pressured my manager to fire me despite my honest efforts. Over time, even my manager started treating me unfairly, as if waiting for me to quit on my own.
For months, I was asked to take on extra responsibilities outside my role, including working at 6 AM for a different team. Even though other team members were available, it always felt like I was the only one being singled out by my manager and team leader. I cooperated every time. But the moment I refused my manager texted me “Job karna hai ki nai ??” next day HR mailed me a termination notice, with no formal warnings and baseless claims that I was a “non-performer.”
This isnβt just my story itβs a reality that many professionals face. Workplaces should be built on fairness, merit, and respect, not favoritism and personal biases. No one should be forced out of their job because of someone else’s preferences.
I am not staying silent about this injustice. I am actively taking steps to hold both my manager and the client accountable for their actions. No employee should have to suffer because of toxic workplace politics. If you have ever faced workplace harassment, unfair treatment, or wrongful termination, speak up because silence only enables the wrongdoers.

March 26, 2025 at 2:18 pmVery noble thoughts, but if you are a lawyer, why are you working a job that needs you to be working at 6AM ? Why aren’t you practicing in court ? -
