        First, they **forced my resignation.**
Then, they **dangled a fake promotion.**
        Then, they **terminated me—quietly, cruelly.**
And when I **apologized, hoping for closure…**
        They disappeared.
        **Like cowards.**

        🧠 What I asked for:

        * Mental health leave during a personal/family crisis
        * A chance to explain after getting terminated
        * My legally owed documents

        💣 What I got:

        * Retaliation after flagging a compliance issue
        * Coerced apology + fake promises
        * Termination notice sent to the wrong email
        * Total silence. For *5+ months*.
        * Still no documents.

I stayed quiet. I followed every channel. I waited.
But silence turned into psychological warfare.
And I lost my health, job, and trust in the system.

        🧾 But I didn’t lose the evidence.

        * More than 9+ follow-up emails
        * Internal appreciation from leadership
        * Screenshots. Apologies. Proof they’re still ignoring me.

No PR team. No lawyer. Just truth—and a voice that refuses to die quietly.

        They thought I’d stay silent.
But I kept the emails. The messages. The receipts.

They call themselves a “Great Place to Work.”
        I call this a warning.

I get it — it’s easy to assume this is “AI-generated,” or that I’m just out here to blame. But what you’re seeing is not automation. It’s exhaustion. It’s survival. And it’s truth — mine.

Let me break it down — not for sympathy, but for clarity:

              1. The Documents They’re Still Holding

I waited months hoping they’d just release my relieving letter, experience certificate, and offer letter.
Only after I filed a complaint with the Labor Commissioner and the hearing date was announced did they release partial payslips and promotion letters.

They’re still holding the rest hostage — and that’s what’s blocking me from getting a job despite clearing multiple interviews.

              2. Accountability on My Part

I’m not denying I said things in emotional distress that I regret. I’ve publicly taken accountability. I even apologized in writing, as per their demand.

But they didn’t follow due process in return. They ghosted me.

              3. The Context You Didn’t See

People saw me use the F-word. But here’s what’s conveniently missing:

I had already requested leave professionally, before disappearing messages were enabled by my supervisor.

              The context was deliberately wiped.

I was going through a divorce, and requested space, not conflict.

And this was not just any supervisor. We had history: He once blamed his own compliance violation on me. Only after I brought forward witnesses did he back off and accept fault.

Just days before this emotional outburst, he told me in an appraisal that because of that incident, I’d get no hike, despite a promotion to Communications Trainer.

I didn’t argue. I accepted the role because I love teaching, not for greed.

              4. Post-Termination Silence

They say I was given a chance to explain.
              Then where’s the proof?

              No call logs.

              No emails.

I sent a legal notice via RPAD. It reached them in a day.

Why didn’t they send their own via RPAD if they were serious?

Instead, they invited me to a meeting, demanded a written apology and a waiver request.
I complied. They ghosted me again.

              5. The Bigger Picture

This isn’t about me wanting compensation from day one.
My LinkedIn posts early on had NO monetary demands.

I just wanted my documents, so I could move forward.
              But after 5+ months of:

              Emotional trauma

              Missed job offers

Lost insurance benefits during my wife’s pregnancy

              Welcoming a newborn into chaos

              Debts piling up

              Being stalled, coerced, and silenced

              That’s when compensation became necessary.

              6. Ask Yourself This

              If I was so “wrong”…

Why did they offer a lowball settlement?

Why did they ask me to take down my post and record a video saying I made it all up?

What kind of company asks for a lie in return for closure?

              This isn’t karma farming.
              This isn’t ego.
This is a worker, a father, a husband — trying to reclaim the dignity he lost to silence, coercion, and retaliation.

If all that doesn’t count as career sabotage, I don’t know what does.

I hope this paints the full picture — because a half story can hurt more than silence.

You have written a very lengthy post that hasn’t answered the question about what actually happened. I gather from some other posters who dug through your linkedin posts that you had a confrontation with your manager and got fired.

Since I don’t know both sides of the story, I can’t really comment on the merits of the case. However, I can definitely say you are communicating very poorly and not getting your point of view across,.based on both of your posts that I have read.

Please try to be more precise, concise and respectful of the readers’ time. You cannot assume that a person reading your post is aware of everything that has been going on in your life. I understand you may be in a disturbed state of mind, but you are not doing yourself any favour by posting what most people would consider to be wild rants.

Yes, I used ChatGPT. But the pain, the facts, and the fight? 100% mine.

When you’re handling everything alone — legal stress, financial wreckage, emotional burnout — smart tools don’t make you fake. They make you efficient.

If my words sound polished, it’s because my reality isn’t.

And if short and crisp is your preference —
                                Here it is:
                                Corporate silence.
                                Career sabotage.
                                5+ months without documents.
Now, I’m speaking up — with receipts.

You can read, scroll, or ignore.
But I’m not here to please.
I’m here to make sure the next person doesn’t suffer silently.

I read this guy’s linkedin post, he literally abused his manager on WhatsApp and then got terminated for the unprofessional conduct. Granted the company had no apathy for his personal issues, it still does not allow him to behave in such a way.

You’re absolutely right — no one should ever justify abusive language, not even me. And I haven’t. I’ve taken full accountability for that outburst, both privately and publicly.

But here’s what’s often missed in a quick scroll:
That message came after weeks of silence, mental health breakdown, ongoing retaliation, and ignored leave requests — not as a first response.
                                        And the chat you saw?
Was only the part after disappearing messages were disabled— wiping out the respectful context that preceded it.

I never claimed I was perfect. But I did try every professional route before going public:

                                        I waited months

                                        I followed up

                                        I sent a formal apology

I even complied with their settlement terms — only to be ghosted again

This isn’t about justifying one message.
It’s about asking: Should one breakdown define a career?
And why does the company walk away clean while I fight alone for my basic documents?

Please read my response to Fantastic Fan 7523 on this thread. Once you’re done reading, do visit my LinkedIn profile here ( http://www.linkedin.com/in/imohsinm96 ) and start reading them all from the time when I went public. Don’t just read the newer posts if you’re really serious with your allegations. Do a deeper research and only then we’ll talk. Try to put yourself in my shoes for once and think. What would you have done? Would you tolerate retaliation, ghosting and silence for an isolated incident despite being a high performing employee prior to that? I hope this helps you clear your perspective for once.

This guy is kind of spamming right now. He took unapproved leave, cursed his supervisor/lead on WhatsApp and now retaliating for being fired. Your actions led to these consequences, deal with it.

DUCKING RETARD. Just went through LinkedIn.

I would have terminated within an hour of receiving that text. I have seen my Program Manager and HR doing this thing to employees such as you within an hour.

Your supervisor’s conduct was very much professional in not replying you and then telling you to talk to HR.

You wouldn’t be able to do anything with this karma farming and LinkedIn views.

Even if you ho legal, you won’t be able to prove anything.

On the contrary the court might fine you for tarnishing the company image on professional and social platforms.

You’re entitled to your opinion , but not your disrespect.

Calling someone a “retard” for sharing their lived experience isn’t just unprofessional — it’s ableist, offensive, and reflects far more about your mindset than mine.

Yes, I said something emotional during one of the darkest chapters of my life. I’ve taken accountability. I’ve apologized. I’ve shared the context, evidence, and timeline publicly.

                                                    What I haven’t done is:

                                                    Ghost anyone after making promises

Withhold legally mandated documents for 5+ months

                                                    Coerce settlements behind closed doors

Or try to erase someone’s livelihood through silence

You may believe that one outburst justifies erasing a person’s entire career. I believe in second chances, due process, and transparency.

This campaign isn’t about karma. It’s about courage. It’s not to farm views. It’s to reclaim dignity.

And as for legal threats — defamation only stands when the claims are false. Mine are backed by documented facts, official emails, and testimonials from others who went through similar misconduct.

I didn’t come this far to argue with abuse. I came this far to stand up — and I will continue doing just that.

Nope. Not yet. I waited months just so that they could release those papers and my salary. Only recently when I filed a complaint in the Labor commissioner’s office and after a hearing was scheduled, they released some of the payslips and promotion letters. They’re still holding onto my relieving letters, experience certificate and offer letter which are hampering my ability to successfully land a job. I dealt quite patiently with them. Although I’m not claiming to be a saint, I made certain comments which I regret to date. I’m not arguing why I was terminated, I did something which was not nice and they took an action as per their policies. But they claimed that they followed the due process towards my termination is incorrect. I had clearly informed my supervisor about the need for leaves before he had disabled the disappearing chat messages. That context is missing from the perspective. HR claims that they tried calling me, sent multiple emails to allow me a chance to speak for myself and apologize for my behavior, I don’t have records. Just to give you an overview, the same supervisor that I used F word with has had a history with me. Almost a year ago, he was involved in a compliance incident and initially while I was trying to save him out of loyalty and respect, he shifted the blame on me, when I produced witnesses then he accepted his fault. Only a few days ago before I had requested leaves was my appraisal meeting where he revisited that incident and told me that it is the reason why I won’t be getting a decent hike despite being a high performer. From analyst to communications trainer role, there should be subtle hike in the package but I didn’t push him for that. I was always interested in teaching or training and I took that role out of passion, not greed. Coming back to post termination, I’ve followed all the professional avenues until I exhausted them. For a company who claims that their actions were right, why aren’t they able to produce a single call records when they claim that they followed the due process? I have documented evidence that they didn’t. Now before taking this public, I sent them a legal notice through RPAD which was delivered within a day. My ex employer claims that they allowed me every chance to save my job, why didn’t they send the same RPAD? They called me into a meeting and after hearing my grievances agreed to release all the documents conditioned to an apology. I complied. Then they started ghosting me. As per the labor law, an employee is entitled to his employment documents even if he/she was terminated. I wasn’t terminated to sexual harassment history nor did I released the company’s confidential information. The demand for compensation came only after they sabotaged my career. If you thoroughly check my LinkedIn profile my demands were never monetary in the beginning. I knew that I could stand on my own if they only released my documents. I landed a lot of interviews and cleared them but my inability to produce my employment records is hindering my job prospects. Had I not been terminated, I would have used the company’s insurance benefits towards my wife’s pregnancy costs. Had I been provided with my rightful documents , I would have been able to welcome my daughter in a peaceful home, not chaos. I am doing gig work but that doesn’t cover the expenses at all. Only the bare minimum. I am in a lot of debts right now, everyday I find it hard to sleep because I’m not sure when these money lenders will land up at my home and mess with my family’s reputation. Now you tell me, if this isn’t a career sabotage, what is it? If this isn’t retaliation by my supervisor for naming him in a compliance incident then why still hold grudges? I issued a formal apology and took accountability for my actions and regretted them. Why is my ex employer unable to do the same? If I am not eligible for compensation and I am standing in the wrong, why would they agree to offer a lowball settlement offer in exchange for removal of my LinkedIn post and a recorder video wherein I’m supposed to say that I ran a false narrative campaign? I hope it rings bells to some of those who have seen only one side of the story. Mi

                                                            No prompt. Just pain.
And five months of silence, ghosting, withheld documents, legal battles, and professional gaslighting.

If it reads like ChatGPT, maybe that’s because I’ve had to write like a legal team, PR agency, and therapist — all rolled into one — just to be heard.

But behind every line you see, there’s a real human who waited, complied, apologized, and still got erased.

If you’re curious about the tools I’ve used — ask away. I’ve got nothing to hide. But don’t let the format distract from the facts.

Truth doesn’t need a prompt. It just needs the courage to publish.

OP you seem too naive. Why would you first stay in a place that you’re unhappy with in the first place and not start looking elsewhere at the get go.

What did you gain by fighting a losing battle? Instead you should’ve sucked it up, found another job and quietly quit without burning bridges. Yes it’s hard to do with nasty people, but what did you expect the world was like?

You need professional maturity. Whistleblowing against a company will not at all help you unless they did something illegal. Withholding your documents is not exactly illegal unless you can prove it that they’re deliberately doing it to keep you unemployed.

My advice try to quietly settle this and move on.

I value your feedback, and I understand where you’re coming from — remaining quiet, moving on, and “quiet quitting” may appear to be the lesser evil.

However, the reality is that I did attempt to move on. I waited, I obeyed, I asked for my documents via the right channels. I did the process, but what I was met with was silence, ghosting, and gaslighting.

And you’re correct, whistleblowing is not the first resort. But I didn’t initiate this battle. The company pushed me into it by not acting professionally, ignoring my demands, and withholding my rightful documents. They had sufficient time to settle this amicably before I was forced to take public action. Instead, they decided to stall, delay, and retaliate.

Hiding documents isn’t only unprofessional — it’s illegal under labor laws, and it’s an intentional effort to ruin my career. It’s not about the documents; it’s about accountability and justice.

And regarding “professional maturity,” the reality is, this was never about burning bridges — it’s about standing up for what’s right. I’m not looking for revenge. I’m fighting for the truth, for workers’ rights, and for every other employee who’s been silenced by fear of retaliation.

Regarding your suggestion to settle peacefully, I’ve already done all they asked of me. Now, I want what is mine. Settling peacefully will not address the systemic wrongs involved.
