January 29, 2025 at 6:48 amSo let me get this straight—women supposedly have all the legal protections, yet here we are, another educated woman dead, allegedly harassed by her husband and in-laws. If the system is so stacked in their favor, why does this keep happening? Where’s the “misuse of laws” when women are still being abused, silenced, and pushed to suicide? Maybe the real issue isn’t that women have too many rights—it’s that they still don’t have enough. But hey, tell me again how men are the real victims here. -

January 29, 2025 at 7:01 amShe’s an educated teacher earning more than most people’s per capita income in India so who’s poor here exactly? It’s so funny how OP’s post is getting so much “it is what it is” and being called a man hater when they expressed an opinion and asked a genuine question but anytime a man expresses a similar opinion, they are never labelled misogynists or women haters lol-

January 29, 2025 at 7:03 amHuh? Are your recommended posts the opposite of mine? All I see everyday is women being excused for bad behavior. There are cases where men suffer, OP’s tactic was to use a case where a woman suffered and say “all men don’t suffer”, which makes zero sense, and has to be called out for the same.

OP
January 29, 2025 at 7:06 amPointing out systemic failures isn’t “man-hating,” it’s basic observation. If you’re more offended by someone discussing injustice than by the injustice itself, that says a hell of a lot more about you than it does about me.-

January 29, 2025 at 7:09 amSystemic failures are everyone in the Indian judicial system lol, if you actually cared about that you would be making posts on a variety of topics.Men victims exist, if you can’t see that and deny that because “oh no look a woman suffered here” then you are too intellectually inferior to continue a conversation with.
Peace🤣👋

January 29, 2025 at 6:55 amI think it’s a question of accessibility, in India we still have a stigma for divorce and separation. If a woman is fearing torture at the hands of in laws, she should have a easy way out.Similarly, if a man wants a way out, he should be able to easily.
But by making the process so complicated, woman who actually need help, don’t get the one they seek and then there are the privilege ones who take advantage of a broken system and over reach.

January 29, 2025 at 6:59 amWomen will always win the legal battle unless the Man and his family has the money to bribe and turn the case against her.If the Man has more money and power, the women will obviously loose.
But if the Women falsely accuses normal middle class people who don’t earn a lot and probably live as tenant and have loans, they will get no benefits from the laws.
Women have all the legal advantage. The example you take is probably where the guy’s family is rich and can afford bribing the officials and judges OR to suppress the women and her family.

January 29, 2025 at 7:01 amTo be honest, even if a man is a victim of abuse from his wife, he is unlikely to file a complaint because speaking up about such matters is often seen as shameful. In contrast, women tend to talk openly about their experiences, which is why these issues receive more attention. Just because men remain silent doesn’t mean they aren’t facing problems.-

January 29, 2025 at 7:02 amWomen do have the gross legal advantage. That’s very simple. But not every woman has the advantage of unwavering family and friends in life.
Women still won’t just get up and leave, or be supported in doing so on their own. These are two different things.
The law will only be able to help, if she has someone she can count on. That’s not gonna happen with biased laws.
If you are oppressed, fight back, do everything you can to get out of it, do not be scared, reach the right people and they’ll help. It’s you or them in that situation. And the law favours you. Fight back, fight hard.
And there’ll be women who misuse the law, for sure, and people will agitate about it, especially those who actually fear for their safety now because of the existence of such women.
