Illegal Car Transfer after owner’s death

Someone transferred my father’s car to his name after my father’s death without my knowledge/consent. I am the sole legal heir of my father.

I don’t live in India what are my options? What kind of corruption going on really sad about it 😞

At agents level , anything is possible, chk if your late father had a loan against his name or had pending EMIs .. whose name , relatives or some unknown person .

this sounds really upsetting especially because discovering something transferred after a parents death without even informing the legal heir naturally makes it feel like trust and process both were bypassed the part that usually matters most here is how the transfer was actually done on record because vehicle transfers after death normally leave some document trail somewhere even if something improper happened also being outside india can make it harder to monitor these things in real time have you been able to get any copy of the transfer documents or see what basis was used to move the car into the other persons name in the first place
