Is it legal to record my conversation with permission

Hi all I wanted to know can my spouse record our conversation without my permission and if so can I say to spouse that I am not having this conversation without my lawyer.

Recording without consent is illegal in India and it cannot be considered as a proof in Indian Judiciary and I am not sure why lawyer is being added in husband and wife conservation. Did you applied for divorce or are you living in a different city different country other than wife?

No I am adding because anything i speak can be used against me . That’s why.
