Hey, im 22 and ive only worked as a freelancer and kinda on a consultancy basis before. Ive been in talks with a company and ive got an offer letter from them stating :
If i decide to move out of the company ill have to pay back 100% of the salary and if i decide to move out within 1-2 years 50% of the salary has to be payed back which includes relocation allowances, bonus, notice buyout and every other expense incurred at the time of joining the company

          Massive red flag.

If you leave within a year the following is usually expected to be paid back

          1. Joining bonus
          2. Relocation allowance
          3. Cost of the stay and food company incurred if they provide you with accommodation

No one asks for salary to be repaid.

In some cases, you are deemed ineligible for variable pay that might have accrued but no1 absolutely no1 asks for the entire salary to be repaid.

Take it as a red flag and run.

they would force you to quit within a year and ask you to pay back full salary , they will get free labour
