April 2, 2025 at 9:18 amTldr: I do some social work and tree plantation at my village every year. I pay for it out of my salary. Some of my friends have also contributed monetarily to this. As I keep on increasing the spend every year, is it practical to form a trust or some other legal entity wherein what I spend on this becomes tax deductible?I’m thinking about this also because my family is planning to make a playground for the kids of the village and we will donate some of our land for the playground.
