so a friend of mine and his girl are looking to explore their sexual interests and on reddit they reached out to people to meet anonymously and link up.

it so happened that they were in talks with someone claiming to be someone else and accidentally sent their picture without blurring their faces. they realised they were being catfishrf at the end of the chat.

so now they are worried what if their picture might get morphed and misused what is the right action that needs to be taken?

TL;DR: friends wanted to get explore, got catfished and catfish has their picture probably. what can be done in case of misuse of the picture?

Ask your friends to lay low. Several pictures are already floating on the internet. Further, the scamsters won’t have contact details of their known people most probably. Ask them not to pick any calls as it will psychologically traumatize them. Fingers crossed !! Hope for the best.

No one cares unless the scammer has access to your personal network like Facebook or IG or knows your place of work etc. too much free porn and nudes are available on the internet and you can now always call it AI generated

No man, I don’t like this username and am a bit ashamed of it even though on reddit we have the luxury of doing such stupid stuff more than anything what other platforms allow and that too without revealing our identity. And for a long time, I’m thinking of changing it but procrastination is a bitch and can hold you back from doing things that require your slightest effort.
