May 7, 2026 at 7:16 amI had my passport police verification today, but it failed because I do not have my motherโs birth certificate.I had my fatherโs school leaving certificate (LC), but they still insisted on either my motherโs birth certificate or her school leaving certificate. The problem is that my mother never had any formal schooling, so there is no LC, and since she was born in a village, there are no birth records available either.
Now Iโm not sure what I should do. Is there any solution to this problem? I need my passport urgently. is Non-Availability of Birth Certificate (NABC) valid if made

May 7, 2026 at 8:37 amThe law is that if you were born after 2003, both your parents need to be Indian or at least one should be Indian and one a legal immigrant.Proof of birth either via birth certificate or school leaving certificate (not after 2023) is required.
