        I booked a flight from an airline for today, and they changed the departure timings (delay of more than 3 hours) by stating the reason as β€œAir strip of destination city is blocked for Aero Show 2025”. Upon checking news articles I found that the schedule for this show had been published a few days before, so the airline had enough time to check and inform passengers about the change in timings/revised schedule. This seems like negligence on the airlines’ part and I was wondering if we as passengers can do something, as it caused a lot of people to miss their connecting flights and unnecessary inconvenience.

          yes lodge a complaint on airline website if it doesnt help ig consumer court ??not really sure but they r obliged to pay for the inconvenience

            Depends on when you were informed by the airline. As long as it is within the time limits set by DGCA, you don’t have a case

              We recieved an internal mail from company travel desk, 40 days earlier regarding this Air show. Airline SHould not have even booked the ticket.
