February 27, 2025 at 5:27 amSo I’ve shared a post recently about my parents submitting an application (not an FIR) to police because of my ill behaviour against them ( I’ve shared too that they abused me physically and mentally from my childhood that’s why I grew up also having abusive behaviour towards them from past years) so i shared this on this subreddit and didn’t get any adequate responses. But then on the same day my father took back the application on same day after 12 hours from the police station and the police at the reception was saying that nothing will happen to my career if an application is submitted against me( I don’t if he was lying to calm me down) but he said that the application gone to a different person (for evaluating the application ,I don’t know if it was recorded in their database and then came back again to him)
Then I searched it on deepseek and chatGpt and it told that it’s necessary to write a letter or application to withdraw the application or else I will be having problems in my career.

February 27, 2025 at 7:36 amLawyer here, yesterday I consulted this person on the very same topic, and this is a mere one, even law students would answer this. but this person is either in so much stress or he is not telling the full side of the story, that is why he is afraid of police. He is afraid to approach a lawyer for some privacy leak. he is just validating himself on people’s opinion here on reddit on daily basis.-

February 27, 2025 at 7:48 ama mere application is not recorded in the general diary of police station, it must be a FIR. without getting in the general diary, no official act can happen for or against any person. -

February 27, 2025 at 7:53 amand are you sure the complaint was accepted or registered? did your parents get any sms regarding successful registration? did they received stamped copy of the complaint in return? did the police approach you yet?-

February 27, 2025 at 8:01 amNo to all your questions. Just the day when my father have gone to police station with the application around 12 hours we got it back from the reception of the police station. The policeman at the reception told that the application is circulated (like evaluated by his higher up)and again got back to him-

February 27, 2025 at 8:06 amif answers are no, then it was not registered or accepted in the first place, even if you did not get that back, you could have found it in the dustbin of police station. that’s the value it holds for them.-
