April 29, 2025 at 11:13 amI paid for a 6 month fibernet service from jio and after using for 3 months, I had to move to a new place. So after at new place I applied for relocation services and they made me pay around 1110rs for relocation.
So now what happens is they suspended my 6 month connection and they keep sending people to my old address to retrieve devices when I am not more in that place I already took the device with me. I keep telling the engineer guy from jio that I am not more available at the location and have already taken the modem with me, they cut the call and jio again reschedule the appointment automatically daily this keeps happening daily and when I try to call them. I am not able to connect with their customer representative because the automated message keeps saying I have a rescheduled appointment and it won’t give me any further options to connect.
I tried sending mail to Jio and even chat support. They all ignore my complaint. It’s about to be 2 months. They have taken the money I paid for relocation and also suspended my account which I avoid almost 3000 for 6 months and I have 3 more months remaining. Because of almost 2 month delay i think only a month remains.
I am planning to take legal action against jio.
I have never been to a police station or court in my life, so I have no idea how to proceed. I also don’t have much money to afford a lawyer and give case against a big form like jio. I request you opinion and suggestions in this matter and would appreciate a proper guidance. -

Happening exactly the same with me, with Airtel Fibre. All these broadband services leech every single penny possible out of you. Professional harassers, nothing else. -

April 29, 2025 at 12:32 pmI had a similar situation, but the installation guy was smart , he told me jio takes forever to process relocation, he just asked me to cancel and apply for a new connection. He was the one who spoke to customer care, and closed the previous connection. And I got a new connection at the same time.. plus I used his referral and got one month free… Ironically, I closed the connection after some months and that was cumbersome.-

April 29, 2025 at 12:38 pmI really don’t want their service anymore. If I have to apply for a new connection I would have to pay again.-

April 29, 2025 at 12:42 pmTheir customer care is useless to a point. I sent them a mail for cancellation and they delayed it till the next billing date. Then they had the balls to ask me to clear the dues before termination. I tore them a new one and threatened escalation with TRAI. Terminated the next day. You can send them an email with the initial date and ask them to refund the remaining balance. Keep a mail track.-
