February 8, 2025 at 3:56 amI was driving at 95 km/h on a highway where the speed limit was 80 km/h and the police interceptor van was there and obviously the policeman gestured me to stop and I slowed the car but then I remembered that I also do not have a valid PUC(Pollution Under Control) certificate because it expired a few days ago. So I did not stop and accelerated and fled from there. The policeman kept gesturing me to stop but i didnโt. Now can he do something like can he still fine me with a challan? -

February 8, 2025 at 4:14 amDepends on the policeman.
They might let it slide or issue a challen with multiple other clauses like..
Reckless driving…did not have documents..did not stop when indicated etc.
Keep a watch on your mobile sms and mail of the registered user.
Usually challans are issued from that or do challan check on your vehicle after 10 days from rto website -

February 8, 2025 at 4:45 amIf you have registered your vehicle on goparivahan app then check after 3-4 working days. If a challan has been issued, it’d reflect there. Also speed gun generated challans are delivered as texts to your registered mobile number almost instantaneously. Good luck to you and let us know how it went.-

February 8, 2025 at 5:28 amYou may still be fined. But that’s ok as you were speeding. -

February 8, 2025 at 7:22 amThis is common in Rajasthan and up to NCR. Depending on the policeman, the worst he can do is to issue an e-challan against your vehicle. -

February 8, 2025 at 8:39 amYou are fucked up literally here.Had you stopped, they would have fined you for speeding and PUC and you could have negotiated.
But now wait for too many accusations.
