KJustice for Dr. Bhavna Yadav — My 25-year-old sister was brutally assaulted and murdered.
Hello everyone,
I am writing this post with a heart full of pain and anger.
My cousin sister, Dr. Bhavna Yadav (25 years old), was a bright and hardworking young woman from Anantpura village near Behror, Rajasthan.
She had completed her MBBS from the Philippines last year and was preparing for her MD entrance exams.
Her mother, Savitri Yadav, a school teacher and principal, raised Bhavna alone as a single mother since Bhavna was just 1.5 years old.
Bhavna used to travel every week to Delhi for her medical mock tests.
On 24th April 2025, tragedy struck.
Her mother received a call from Udesh , a clerk working in Hisar, Haryana.
He coldly told her,
“Bhavna jal gayi hai” (“Bhavna is burnt”),
and demanded her Aadhaar card details to admit Bhavna to the hospital.Her mother, suspicious, refused and demanded a video call instead.
On video call, she saw Bhavna screaming “Mummy bachalo, mummy bachalo” (“Mother, save me!”) in unimaginable pain.
Udesh then used his own Aadhaar to admit her and immediately fled from the hospital.
Bhavna’s family immediately rushed in two cars from their village to Hisar and reached within one and a half hours.
The scene they found was horrifying:
Bhavna’s face and throat were severely burnt, suspected with acid. so she is not left with any speech and can’t be her own witness
Her hair, back and legs were safe and not burnt.
Below her waist to knees was badly burnt, suggesting a deliberate attempt to destroy evidence of any sexual assault.
Bhavna had also suffered stab wounds to her stomach which family got to know after they reached SMS hospital jaipur because SONI hospital in Hisar didn’t tell them what was condition before dressing
Even after repeated calls, no police came to the hospital for over 1.5 hours.
When the family approached the police , she rudely dismissed them and showed no sensitivity.
The attending doctor at Soni Hospital, Hisar refused to properly meet or update the family.
Seeing no support, the family shifted Bhavna to SMS Hospital, Jaipur.
Bhavna took her last breath that very night (24th April 2025).
Important Facts:
Udesh , the man who called and admitted her, is missing.
Police have still not recovered Bhavna’s mobile phone, iPad, or laptop, which are crucial pieces of evidence.
Zero FIR was registered in Jaipur for fairness, and a Medical Board was set up to ensure an unbiased and transparent postmortem.
Postmortem report is still awaited.
Bhavna’s family strongly believes Udesh is the prime suspect behind this brutal assault and murder.
Despite all this, police action has been slow and insensitive so far.
She was not just a daughter or sister — she was a future doctor, a fighter, a human being .
she had some dreams , plans and a future awaiting for her .
She trusted someone, and they betrayed her in the most horrific way possible.We demand justice.
We demand fast investigation.
We demand arrest of the guilty.Please help us raise Bhavna’s voice and get her the justice she deserves.

AActually, it’s men. It’s men who do this, men who propagate such heinous crimes and men who come and talk politics to cover up their asses. At this point, why not just kill all women? Be done with us for once and for all
Why just blame India, blame the whole damn world? Weren’t there a report of a woman in japan who was tortured for months and then shoved inside a drum and cemented over? Every country tries to be great, and in the end , you will just blame India when the issue is men. Obviously, it’s not all men, but it’s always a man.
That woman police officer who acted rude and insensitive, well even she doesn’t want to be the next victim . We talk about showing solidarity, but at the days end, we know the reality. Even the strongest female can’t match up with an average male.

DBest Advice is to call a lawyer ASAP and a good one at that. The media people only in for the news and nothing further, and the chances are high that police is corrupt and will play both sides. Its best that u Keep proofs that u visited police station no FIR was filed. The lawyers will know what to do.

NLawyer here. Please do this asap. Go to the HC so that they can monitor the investigation from the get go. Time is of ultimate importance so that evidence does not get destroyed.

PAnd then few will lecture that it’s better to stay in India. It’s the worst country currently someone can live in. Both for boys and girls. Facing racism is far better than dying for nothing and waiting for incompetent authorities to take action.
It’s chilling even to read this. How can these police officers be so cold? Don’t they have daughters and wife or they don’t care? -

LIt’s devastating to hear what happened to Dr. Bhavna Yadav. She was a bright, hardworking young woman who had her whole future ahead of her. No family should have to go through such unimaginable pain. The way her life was taken with cruelty and betrayal is beyond heartbreaking. We stand with her family and demand swift action, a transparent investigation, and justice for Bhavna. Her voice deserves to be heard. Her dreams deserve to be honored.

I hope she gets the justice. OP, you also are very devastated, but right now please take care of her mother.

PLEASE TRY TO URGE AND CONNECT WITH JOURNALISTS LIKE FAYE WHO IS LIKELY TO PICK THIS UP AND VOICE OVER THIS. please write letters to ministry of women and child development, state government. Make all of these messages in public. Put the authorities on spot and make them take action!!!

KThe guy who is suspect is married with a kid 3 year old … guy is from rewari the incident is said to happen at agricultural department of hisar University(though not 100% sure) , Guy is hiding with help of his brother who is in delhi police … , Police still isn’t working and it’s waiting for postmortem report which will be arriving in a day or two
