        My grandfather had 2 brothers and had 5 acres of land in his name in his village. Due to reasons he had to move away from the village. Later when he had moves to the city the other two brothers made a fake death certificate saying he had died in 1976. But my grandfather was alive until 2003 and we have death certificate for it approved by the court.
        My question is how do we claim this and take it to the court.

              What have you been doing from 2003 till today? I doubt there would be any legal remedies available to you due to the law of limitation.

                  The thing is we found out that they had made a fake death certificate and details of how the land was transfered recently like in the past 4 months

                      I disagree with this as one can trust relatives to upkeep their interest and may not be vigilant and not be aware if fraud is done with them

                              Op can always file for the interim attachment of the disputed properties and ask for directions to the appropriate authority to investigate the fraud and do justice to his share

                                That op will have to do himself he can file a case in court and get an interim order to get the property attached by the court till the outcome of the case

                                    R u lawyer…! Bcz i don’t think so, may be even if u r, then read the law, how can he challenge 20 year old transactions made by his grandfather’s brother, might yes he can file this, but learned judge will dismiss that…
