UWe live in a joint family in a building where our house/flat is under the pagdi system.
During covid the landlord stopped the entry of outsiders which was fair but post covid till today he doesn’t allow people from outside to enter the building. He locks the gate and the guards only open the gate for known people.
Is this even legal? How can he stop the entry of people to the house?
He has done such stuff in the past to harass us, for example he has stopped us from using the lift, my father is a cancer patient and we literally have to carry him every time we need to take him to the hospital.
Other tenants in the building have complained to the cops in the past and they have done nothing, the landlord is very rich and well connected and just pays off the cops.
Is this even legal? And what can I do to stop this madness?
