March 8, 2025 at 8:51 amMy lawyer is not attending to my case in the court. This has happened for last 3 dates. Once he faked fever and skipped attending court.
In this situation what are my options? How do I change my lawyer and can he cause any problems if I change to a new lawyer. -

March 8, 2025 at 9:06 amHad the same issue a few years back. Once he said he is on his way to the courtroom as we were next in line, asshole didn’t show up. Instead sent a junior lawyer to take another date.didnt answer my calls for a hour and when he did says he had to leave due to an emergency. Followed up with him on a daily basis to get the case transferred to another lawyer. He just kept dragging his feet to give the noc and hand over the docs. Took me 4 months to do it.
Just be patient and keep pushing these guys have thick skin and zero morals. -

March 8, 2025 at 10:24 amThis can happen when clients don’t pay fees. Pay up. You can change your lawyer but that also requires an NOC from your current lawyer.-

March 9, 2025 at 4:37 amHire one of the lawyers that did show up. Hang around for a bit and observe which ones fight their client cases well.
