February 3, 2025 at 7:32 amWhat is the law if I am recording when someonr is doing wrong in society or trying to harm me or threaten me. Especially with goverment employees and inside goverment institutions like police and police station, Traffic cops, Railway station, train with TTE and GRP or any civil administration because they threaten sometimes saying it’s against the law or its not allowed to record inside a goverment institution etc. enlighten me. -

February 3, 2025 at 7:39 amAs far as i understand, you can’t record inside institutions whether public or private. They laws will side with specific institutions terms and conditions.
On the other hand, you can record personal phone conversations if you are part of the phone call. I’m india it’s a single party consent system.-
