March 26, 2025 at 8:03 amAs a civilian, I side with him, I think he is within his rights to question the establishment. But I don’t want to live within the boundaries of my limited knowledge. What are the devils and the nuances here?I have two questions from the lawyers –
* Is he within his rights, as per the constitution and the law?
* Should he be within his rights, considering India is a self-declared democracy?Thank you.

March 26, 2025 at 10:55 amWhy doesn’t the civil society discuss the same rights for Nupur Sharma and the handful of people who were k*led for saying “I support Nupur Sharma”.. K*lling is more extreme right than some minor disruption and tod phod.. At least I would like to think that is the case. Also, why doesn’t the civil society discuss rioting in Nagpur over a rumour or rioting in Bengaluru for the FB post of one person.. Isn’t the response clearly disproportionate.. At least, I would like to think that is the case

March 26, 2025 at 3:46 pmHow the hell does Kunal Kamra survive being constantly served lawsuits every time he opens his mouth? I mean, at some point, he’s gotta run out of money -

March 26, 2025 at 5:45 pmHe is well within his rights just as Nupur Sharma or Kanga Ranaut, Kamlesh Tiwari were.He is not a comedian, he is a political activist (nothing wrong in being a political activist) who just like any other activist has a bias. The UBT ShivSena that he is so aligned with are the ones who have done most of such “ye bola toh maar khayega” stunts.

March 27, 2025 at 5:16 amOur country laws are soo muddy that if you are a govt. Support you are safe if you speak against you will be dragged with your head down in that muddy water without giving a chance to breath so you don’t even get a chance.Consider govt. In our country as GODFATHER if he is with you everything is easy (like adani reliance and many more) if you are against it its like you have 1 ton of crap on you and you try to move but can’t move because for that you need to first stand under that load walking is completely different thing.
I suggest don’t say anything to the govt. Keep your head down give the establishment money who so ever comes in power.

OP
March 27, 2025 at 9:05 amI understand, and I agree. The chances I’d say are next to impossible, because the ruling party is directly involved in the destruction, as seen in the video. Unless this goes to the apex court, which it has almost no chance of going.

March 27, 2025 at 12:08 pmI don’t even like him but he or any other citizen should have the right to criticize/hate politicians, religion or any community.Obviously we are an immature country so we should take it slowly. Also people should stop their political bias and urge their respective preferred parties to support freedom of speech and expression. Obviously we need to remove the vague laws which are being misused.
